It is quite a while ago since Jim painted her and he has painted her a few times over the years but he thinks it took approximately 10 hours of actual painting time in this particular case. :-)

James is pretty good, no question.  The tones of the gold and the flesh are a bit close in this composition.  Both are really well executed, but a different colour choice might have given an even better final result.

I have two of these models on my desk waiting for me to get around to painting them.  One day... one day...
